The history

Every bottle of wine produced on the Chigi Saracini Estate at Castelnuovo Berardenga tells the history of the prestigious noble families who established and developed a property whose origins date back to very ancient times.
The coat of arms, which coincides with today's brand image, combines the emblems of the four families who alternated or joined at the helm of the property through family relationships or as a result of various historical events. It was in the 12th century that these nobles of German origin, who already possessed large domains in the Maremma region, settled in Siena.
